Behavior System - Great Visual Plan for Students with Special Needs

Regular price $3.50 $0.00
Get your students with special needs motivated and on track with what they are working for right in front of them in a handy little booklet of cards!

This is how it works:

1. Students earn points during class for things like:

-completing classwork

-following classroom rules

-participating without disruption

-being on task

-following directions

-being respectful

-being on time

Two point sheets are included in the product and are EDITABLE. :)

2. Students decide what they are working for by selecting an item from a menu. In this resource, the menu is on "cards". Teachers print the cards, laminate them and then place them on a ring. That way the student can choose what they are working for and have it on their desk as a constant reminder. Plus, teachers can edit the menu at any time by simply removing a card from the ring!

(Menu cards are included in the product, but you may want to survey your students to see what they might like to earn. Most of the things on my menu are privileges, not treats. There is one Treasure chest menu item and one cookie or candy item.)

3. Record the points so that they are visual to the students I use Class Dojo but you can use any kind of visual system such as a clip chart, tally sheet or point sheet.

I have also added a plan for behaviors when the positives aren't working. :)
